Geraghty’s Pub had to close due to C-19. The cessation of its social drinkers’ world problem-solving sessions was a massive loss for mankind. The Publican reopened the pub virtually using Zoom to connect his homebound social drinkers, and they resumed their important problem-solving duties. He recruited some Dead Viziers to advise the social drinkers, maintaining that the wisest people were already dead. They all voted for World Peace as the first problem they would tackle.

After a contentious debate, they decided that the solution for World Peace was music because of its ability to create mass empathy. Sound, ear, and brain experts were brought in, including Chief Neuronimo to help explain how the brain processes music and how music triggers empathy and euphoria-creating brain-drugs.

As C-19 restrictions were lifted, the Publican opened Geraghty’s and added a Metaverse Pub after raising a stack of VC money. Geraghty’s business grew by leaps and bounds. But opposition rose up from special interests whose power and wealth would be negatively affected by World Peace. Undaunted, the Publican urged his social drinkers onwards while formulating a Plan B, just in case…
